Privacy Policy

Effective May 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Stick It Easy collects when you use stickiteasy.com or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Contact information — name and email address.
  • Shipping address — collected at checkout via Stripe's AddressElement.
  • Order details — items ordered, quantities, materials, sizes, and selected options.
  • Uploaded artwork — the PNG, JPG, or PDF file you upload to be printed on your stickers (up to 25 MB).
  • Payment metadata — card brand, last four digits, and a Stripe charge ID returned via webhook. Full card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our servers.
  • Communications — anything you write to us by email or through the Site.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or social-media plugins. The Site sets two cookies for its own functionality: a signed cart cookie that links your browser to a server-side cart, and a signed checkout cookie that binds an in-progress payment to your session for security. Neither cookie carries personal data; both are set to HttpOnly and Secure.

2. How we use your information

  • To process your order — accepting payment, calculating tax, and producing your stickers.
  • To ship your order and provide tracking.
  • To send transactional email — an order confirmation when payment is received, a shipping notification with tracking when your order ships, and replies to your support inquiries.
  • To respond to support requests and resolve issues such as misprints or returns.
  • To prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

We do not use your information to send marketing emails unless you've explicitly opted in.

3. Service providers we share with

We share the minimum information needed to operate the Site with the following processors. Each provider has its own privacy commitments and processes data only on our behalf:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing, address collection, and tax calculation. Receives your name, email, billing/shipping address, payment details, and order amount. stripe.com/privacy
  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) — transactional email delivery (order confirmations, shipping notifications). Receives your name and email address. aws.amazon.com/privacy
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (R2 storage) — encrypted-at-rest storage of artwork files. Receives only the artwork bytes; no contact information. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
  • United States Postal Service (USPS), via Pirate Ship — package delivery. Receives the recipient's name and shipping address printed on the label.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data retention

We retain order records (including names, addresses, order details, and payment metadata) for as long as necessary to fulfill the order, support reprints and warranty requests, and meet our tax and accounting obligations — typically seven years for financial records.

Uploaded artwork is retained while your order is open and for a reasonable period afterward to support reprints. You may request deletion of your artwork at any time by emailing us; we'll honor the request unless we're legally required to keep it.

5. Security

All traffic to the Site uses HTTPS. Cookies are signed and Secure-flagged. Payment card data is collected directly by Stripe in their iframe and never reaches our servers. Artwork files are stored encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password for the email account you provide at checkout.

6. Your rights

You may, at any time, ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your information, subject to records we're legally required to retain (e.g., tax records).
  • Opt out of any marketing email (we currently send only transactional email).

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@stickiteasy.com. We may need to verify your identity (typically by confirming your order details) before fulfilling the request.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

8. International users

We currently ship only within the United States. The Site is operated from the United States; if you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated by email when reasonable.
