We're a small custom-print shop, not a marketplace, and we get to choose what we print. This Acceptable Use Policy describes the artwork we will and won't reproduce. It applies to anything you upload through the Site or send to us.
What you can upload
- Original artwork you created.
- Artwork you commissioned and have the rights to reproduce.
- Artwork you have an explicit license or written permission from the rights-holder to reproduce on physical merchandise.
- Public-domain artwork, or artwork released under a license that permits commercial reproduction onto goods (e.g., certain Creative Commons licenses — verify the license terms).
By uploading artwork, you represent that you own it or have the rights described above, and you agree to indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from the artwork.
What we won't print
Regardless of who uploads it, we won't print any of the following. We may refuse, cancel, or refund an order at our discretion if we believe it falls into any of these categories.
Intellectual property
- Trademarks, logos, characters, or brand assets you don't have rights to — including (but not limited to) entertainment franchises (Disney, Marvel, DC, Nintendo, Pokémon, Star Wars), professional sports leagues and teams (NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, NHL, FIFA, Olympic marks), and corporate brand logos.
- Copyrighted images, photographs, or illustrations you don't own and aren't licensed to reproduce — including stock images used outside their license.
- Counterfeit goods — designs intended to imitate or deceive about the origin of branded products.
Hateful, harmful, or illegal content
- Hate speech or imagery targeting people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. This includes Nazi or other recognized hate-group symbols used in a non-educational, non-historical context.
- Threats, harassment, or content advocating violence against specific people or groups.
- Content promoting terrorism, violent extremism, or organized criminal activity.
- Content depicting real-world violence, gore, or animal cruelty.
Sexual content
- Sexually explicit material, including pornography.
- Any sexualized depiction of minors, real or illustrated, in any context. This is an absolute prohibition; we will report such uploads to the appropriate authorities.
Other prohibited content
- Personal information of identifiable individuals (full names, photos, addresses, phone numbers, license plates) without their explicit, verifiable consent.
- Content promoting fraud, scams, deceptive medical claims, or unauthorized financial schemes.
- Content depicting or facilitating dangerous activities likely to cause physical harm.
How review works
We do not pre-screen most orders — we rely on your representations under this policy and the Terms. We may, however, review any order before printing. If we believe an order violates this policy, we'll email you to clarify, request a substitute design, or cancel and refund.
Reporting infringement (DMCA)
If you believe content we have printed or hosted infringes your copyright, please send a notice to hello@stickiteasy.com with the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on our Site or in your order to be removed (with enough detail to locate it — order ID, screenshot, etc.).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We respond to valid DMCA notices by removing the infringing material and, where applicable, refunding the order and disabling the customer's ability to reorder the same artwork.
